Dubbo Base Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join its Maternity ward on a 13-week contract basis, commencing 12 October 2026 and concluding 10 January 2027. This is an excellent prospect for an experienced midwife to contribute to a busy maternity service in regional NSW, supporting mothers and families through pregnancy, labour, and the early postnatal period.

Preferred Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in maternity or midwifery practice
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Sound clinical knowledge of antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills and a woman-centred approach to care
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current CPR and emergency skills certification
- Experience in a regional or rural hospital setting is advantageous
