This is a full time, temporary position commencing January 2027 for 12 months.
A St Mary MacKillop College teacher encourages each student to discover and develop their interests and talents in order to become the best they can be. Providing cutting-edge and best practice teaching, students will grow and develop lifelong learning attributes.
Reporting to the Head of Primary the role of a St Mary MacKillop College teacher is to plan, organise and deliver educational programs, modelled within the Catholic Ethos, in a positive learning environment.
The successful applicant will have:
- Willingness to promote and support Catholic values as a member of the St Mary MacKillop College community.
- A relevant 4 year Teaching qualification in Primary Education (Early Childhood Education).
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or working towards).
- A deep understanding of the Western Australian curriculum.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards.
- Current Teachers Registration and Working with Children Check
- A valid National Police Criminal History Check

- Is a vibrant, passionate and enthusiastic educator.
- Provides a nurturing and supportive environment inspiring students to develop a love of learning.
- Has proven experience teaching using Explicit Instruction and investigative pedagogies.
- Is competent with the use of technology in the classroom, online strategies and digital process software.
- Possess team work skills that contribute to productive working relationships and outcomes.
