Cardiac Scrub Nurses – Australia Wide - Long & Short-Term Opportunities

An established provider of specialist operating theatre staff to hospitals across Australia is seeking experienced Cardiac Scrub Nurses to join our growing team. We are looking for highly skilled theatre nurses with cardiac surgical experience who are confident working within specialist cardiac operating environments.

Key responsibilities

- Work confidently and independently within a cardiac theatre environment
- Provide scrub/scout support in operating theatre settings
- Perform cardiac surgical scrub duties
- Manage surgical instrumentation and maintain sterile technique
- Support procedures such as CABG, valve surgery, aortic surgery and other complex cardiac procedures
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with theatre teams
- Provide high-quality patient care

About you

- Current AHPRA registration
- Operating theatre scrub/scout experience
- Cardiac surgical scrub experience
- Robust knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique




- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Experience across procedures such as CABG, valve surgery, aortic surgery and other complex cardiac procedures will be highly regarded
