We are looking for an experienced, trade-qualified Printing Machinist / Digital Production Coordinator to join our busy production floor here in Biggera Waters.

Printforce is a high-volume commercial printing business, and this is a fast-paced, high-pressure role with a heavy daily workload. We need someone who can handle tight turnaround times, manage a large volume of work, and show a genuine commitment to getting the daily schedule cleared and completed on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up, program, and run high-volume digital production presses (including our Ricoh Pro C9500) to meet strict commercial print standards under tight deadlines.
- Handle colour management, calibration, and media profiling using a spectrophotometer and densitometer.
- Operate a range of finishing and binding equipment efficiently to clear heavy daily workloads, with essential hands‑on experience required for commercial folding machines and booklet makers.
- Receive incoming stock, manage inventory levels, and handle materials management across the floor (including regular heavy lifting of paper stocks and media).
- Handle routine and preventative maintenance (such as blanket washes and roller care)



and troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to avoid downtime.
- Maintain strict quality control under pressure, checking outputs against proofs and using your trade background to catch errors before they hit the floor.
- Take pride in keeping all machinery, tools, and the broader production work area meticulously clean, organized, and safe at all times.

About You:

- Formal trade qualifications in graphic pre‑press, printing, or a related trade.
- Essential, hands‑on experience operating commercial folding machines and booklet makers.
- Solid, multi‑year background operating heavy commercial digital print equipment and finishing machinery.
- Strong technical know‑how in colour profiling, machine calibration, and media setup.
- Good mechanical aptitude for routine machine maintenance and fault‑finding.
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and comfortable handling warehouse stock and inventory tasks.
- A proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting, handle a heavy workload, maintain high housekeeping standards, and consistently meet strict daily deadlines.
