JOB DESCRIPTION

As an ICT Developer at Omni Packaging Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software applications and ICT systems that support the organisation's business operations. The role involves working closely with management and relevant teams to identify system requirements, develop effective technology solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of existing systems. You will be responsible for improving software functionality, optimising system performance, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring that ICT solutions meet business and operational requirements. Your role will be key in streamlining business processes, enhancing operational efficiency, supporting digital improvements, and contributing to the overall technological development of the organisation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Researching, analysing and evaluating system and software requirements.




- Identifying limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and processes.
- Testing, debugging and correcting software errors to ensure reliable performance.
- Writing and maintaining program code in accordance with technical specifications.
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation and operating procedures.
- Providing advice on software design, upgrades and technology improvements.
- Developing and implementing software applications to meet business requirements.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing applications to improve system performance.
- Integrating software applications with existing business systems and databases.
- Monitoring software performance and resolving technical issues to ensure efficient operations.
- Work in a professional and safe manner at all time and maintain all relevant OH&S; requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience in software development or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, software development and application design.
- Knowledge of database management, system integration and software maintenance.




- Ability to analyse system requirements and develop effective software solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and technical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

WORKING HOURS

Full-time position, 38 hours per week.
