My client is a leading and established chartered accounting name seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. They work with a range of family-owned businesses, HNW families, start-ups, medium to larger corporate organisations in IT, professional services, manufacturing, retail and medical.
Reporting directly to the Manager, your role will entail:
- Liaising with clients directly and building on existing relationships
- Preparing financial accounts and tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies and partnerships
- Identifying compliance/tax issues for e.g. FBT, Div7A, small business concessions, etc
- Performing tax planning requirements for clients
- Preparing clear and succinct work papers
- Reviewing management accounts
- Drafting advice letters on various tax issues
- Workflow and billing management
- Delegating, supervising and reviewing work of junior team members.
Applicants:
- Approx. 4+ years’ experience in business services/tax experience in an Australian accounting firm
- CA or CPA qualified or studying
- Ability to manage/work towards managing client relationships and have a client-centric mindset
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
