Reporting to the Event Director, you'll manage our weekly and seasonal markets across Perth, from vendor curation and planning through to onsite delivery and post-event reporting. It's a hands-on role for someone who loves markets, people and the outdoors, and takes pride in getting the details right. Each week brings high volumes of vendor information and hard deadlines, so administrative accuracy is fundamental.

Our markets run Thursday to Saturday, so you'll work Tuesday to Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off. Evening and late-night work is required during market seasons.

Key responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and deliver weekly, seasonal and special markets.

Manage the full vendor process (applications, selection, onboarding, communications and relationships), curating a balanced mix of food, beverage, retail and community vendors.

Maintain accurate vendor records, bookings, attendance and compliance documents, ensuring vendors and contractors meet insurance, licensing, food safety and regulatory requirements.

Manage weekly vendor attendance, cancellations, site positioning, bump-in, trading and bump-out.

Develop event plans, production schedules, site plans and operational documentation.

Coordinate infrastructure, equipment, contractors, security, cleaning, waste and traffic management.

Inspect sites and oversee setup, delivery and pack-down, acting as the key onsite contact and resolving issues as they arise.

Support risk management plans, permits and emergency procedures.

Monitor event expenditure and support vendor invoicing, fee administration and event reconciliation.

Coordinate entertainment, activations, community programming and partners.

About you

Experience managing markets, festivals,

public events or similar live-event environments.

Strong administration and follow-through, with accurate work delivered to deadlines.

Operational planning and onsite delivery experience.

Experience managing vendors, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.

Understanding of event safety, risk management, permits and compliance.

Confidence with budgets, schedules, databases and documentation; Airtable or similar preferred.

Current driver's licence and ability to travel between sites.

Comfortable working Tuesday to Saturday, including Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday nights during market seasons.
