About Kuttabul Health Centre

Located on HMAS Kuttabul in Potts Point where the area itself has been a naval base since 1856. It is home to Fleet Support Unit South-East (FSU-SE) which conducts maintenance on ships and submarines. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, outpatients, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services. This mid-size base has up to 4,500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel. Standard operating hours aregenerally Monday-Friday.

What you’ll do





- Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members
- C onductingfitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care .
- U ndertaking assessments, in tervention s, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environmentwhere patientwellness is paramount

What you bring

- Unrestricted AHPRA g eneral registration as a Psychologist
- Minimum two years’ Post Graduate experience within last five yearsin mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
- Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ asperMedicare Schedule
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance
- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
