Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Finance Officer to join our team, here based in Rocklea.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner.

- Review and verify invoices and payment requests.

- Monitor and manage debtor accounts, including regular follow-up on outstanding invoices and proactive collection of overdue payments.

- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.





- Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.

- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant awards and legislation.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.

- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax obligations (BAS, PAYG, superannuation), and company policies.

- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and 3rd party stakeholders.

- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Be respectful towards the organisation, colleagues, clients and the general public.

Required Qualification & Experience:

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance and Business Commerce or equivalent to the role.

- Proven 5 years' experience in a Finance or Accounting role.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
