Nepean Diagnostics
Kingswood
Nepean Diagnostics is an independent private imaging practice located within Nepean Private Hospital, providing services to both outpatients and inpatients. We work closely with our specialist referrers to deliver high-quality, specialised care, with a strong focus on patient care and diagnostic precision. Our services span CT, Interventional Procedures, Barium Studies, General X-Ray, Operating Theatres, Cath Lab, and Ultrasound.
We're a leading provider of cardiac CT imaging and interventional biopsies in the Nepean region, working alongside a knowledgeable and approachable team of Radiologists.
The Role
We're looking for a motivated, adaptable Radiographer to join our team in a full-time, hospital-based role.
You'll work a rostered schedule across 8am to 8pm, including late shifts and on-call. Under our on-call arrangement with the hospital, you must be able to reach the site within 40 minutes, so this role suits candidates living within, or willing to relocate within, that travel time. Recent starters join the on-call roster only after completing training and a competency assessment, with senior back-up always available.
Whether you're a new graduate keen to build broad clinical experience or an experienced Radiographer looking for a genuinely varied caseload, you'll receive CT, fluoroscopy,
and operating theatre training from day one, with cardiac CT and interventional procedures introduced within your first few months. All staff are supported to become fluent across the full scope of the radiographer role, including IV cannulation.
What We Offer
- Comprehensive hands-on training across CT, fluoroscopy, theatre, cardiac CT, and interventional procedures
- Structured onboarding with senior radiographer back-up, including on-call support while you settle in
- High-end CT and fluoroscopy equipment
- Genuine variety: outpatient and inpatient work, Cath Lab, and Operating Theatres alongside core modalities
- Competitive remuneration, with progression as you build competency across modalities
About You
- AHPRA registration and a current NSW radiation user licence, or eligibility to obtain them. Final-year students completing in 2026 are encouraged to apply.
- Able to reach the hospital within 40 minutes to meet on-call requirements
- Strong communication skills, so patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their imaging
- A strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to developing across the full scope of the role
