Momentum Physio and Rehab Group – Traralgon VIC

2+ years’ experience | Full time | Traralgon East

Earn $120k+ including super with fewer than 50 appointments a week. Build towards a four-day week. Work with people who give a damn.

You’ve spent the last few years becoming a physio who can confidently manage their own caseload. Now you’re thinking about what you want from your next job.

Better pay. People you can learn from. Time for your own sport, family or whatever you enjoy outside work.

At Momentum Physio & Rehab Group, we care about what you want from your career and your life outside it.

We’re looking for a physio with at least two years’ experience to join our team in Traralgon East. Someone who cares about their patients, enjoys getting better at their work and helps their teammates out.

Physiotherapist

Here’s what working here looks like.

You should be able to do well here

Earning $120k+ a year, including super, is achievable with fewer than 50 individual appointments a week, including for a physio with two to three years’ experience. That’s earning potential through our pay and rewards structure. We’ll talk you through how it works.

This is a full-time position with scope to shape your working week. Four longer days might suit you. Or three longer days and two shorter ones.

The pathway to four days is clear: maintain more than 80% diary utilisation for three consecutive months, and demonstrate that you can build a caseload through the middle of the day as well as the popular morning and evening appointments.

You’ll work at least two late finishes a week. No weekends required.

We’ve already changed a roster around football season: five days during the season to make training work, then four longer days in the off-season for long weekends. That’s the sort of conversation we’re happy to have.

We give a damn about the person in front of us

Our patients have things they want to get back to. Footy. Running. The gym. Being able to do more with their family.

We take those goals seriously, combining hands‑on treatment with structured rehabilitation and testing to track progress.

Around 80% of our caseload is private or extras‑paying, predominantly active adults and community sportspeople. Roughly a quarter is knee and ACL rehabilitation, alongside plenty of shoulder, lumbar spine, foot and ankle work.

Your week includes:

- 45-minute initial appointments and 30-minute reviews

- Strength and function testing

- Rehab sessions with up to three clients

- Hands‑on treatment and exercise rehabilitation in a up-to-date, spacious clinic with a well‑equipped gym

You’ll use VALD ForceDecks, ForceFrame and DynaMo to inform your clinical decisions, with AirBands available for rehabilitation.

We put time into our team too

You’ll manage your own caseload with support from people who are happy to talk through a case or lend a hand.

Our regular rhythm includes:

- Weekly in‑clinic PD and case reviews

- Fortnightly 1:1 meetings with the Director

- Quarterly conversations dedicated to your goals and plans

- Three hours of paid admin time each week once you reach 80% utilisation

- Paid team time, plus a monthly lunch out of the clinic and an activity together

Those quarterly conversations matter. They give you time to discuss what you’re working towards and agree on the support to get there.

Your career can develop around what matters to you

You might want to deepen your clinical skills, build a particular area of interest or increase your earnings.

Further down the track, you might want to mentor younger physios, contribute to education or take on leadership responsibilities. We have progression options to work towards as your experience and responsibilities grow.

And if you love treating patients and want to keep your focus there, you’re absolutely welcome.

We help each other out

We’re looking for someone who can run their own caseload, asks for help when they need it, and offers it when a colleague does.

Someone who takes their patients seriously, is open to feedback and cares about how the whole team is going.

That’s what “give a damn” means here.

Thinking about a move out of Melbourne

Considering a move from Melbourne? Gippsland offers space, an appealing cost of living and proximity to the city.

If you’re considering a move, we’re happy to talk honestly about working here and what life in the area is like.
