Tweed Heads District Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS2) to join its Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team on a contract basis. This is a short-term opportunity running from late October through to late November 2026, based in Tweed, NSW. The role offers an immediate start for an experienced mental health clinician ready to make a direct impact in a specialist paediatric and adolescent setting.

Preferred Requirements
- Substantial experience working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
- Current VPM (Violence Prevention and Management) competency or willingness to obtain it quickly
- Robust clinical assessment and intervention skills in mental health nursing
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Current registration with AHPRA and a valid nursing licence
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialist experience in mental health or CAMHS nursing
- Current or recent VPM competency certification
