Position Overview:
As a Solicitor at our firm, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. Working closely with the owner and Principal Solicitor, you will be responsible for a diverse range of legal tasks, including client consultations, case research, litigation, document drafting, and client relationship management. Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to gather information and provide legal advice
- Conduct thorough research on cases and relevant laws
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Draft legal documents with precision and attention to detail
- Liaise with clients and other professionals, such as Barristers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our client base
- Work closely with the owner and Principal Solicitor to deliver high-quality legal services
Qualifications:
- Current Practicing Certificate and demonstrated experience in all areas of Law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously with initiative while also being an effective team member
- Dedication to building and fostering relationships with clients and referrers
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive matters
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and other relevant software and databases
- High-quality proofreading, grammatical, and spelling skills
- Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced environment and work within tight timelines
- Experience using PEXA for conveyancing and other property matters is preferred
