About the role
Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll assist in the coordinated and successful delivery of projects while ensuring commercial and financial targets are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Trade procurement and subcontract letting
- Preparing detailed scopes of works
- Quote analysis and negotiation
- Subcontract administration
- Variations and cost control
- Monthly forecasting and cost-to-complete
- Progress claims and subcontractor claims
- Procurement schedules
- RFIs and consultant coordination
- Tracking deposits and long-lead items
- Supporting the PM and Site Manager commercially
- Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
- Utilise Procore and relevant project management systems.
Your background
- 2+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator in luxury residential or detailed commercial construction.
- Commercially strong – budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, variations and subcontractor accounts.
- Procurement experience – trade scopes, tender comparisons, negotiations and subcontractor engagement.
- Highly organised – manages multiple trade packages,
deadlines, RFIs and contract documentation.
- Strong construction knowledge – drawings, specifications, sequencing and trade coordination.
- Excellent communication skills – confident dealing with trades, architects, consultants and project teams.
- Proactive and accountable – takes ownership, identifies issues early and drives projects forward.
