Business Development Manager – Weighing Devices Industry

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the weighing devices and industrial measurement sector. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a strong background in B2B industrial equipment, technical solutions, or instrumentation sales.

You will be responsible for identifying recent business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across key industries including manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, mining and civil construction.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share

- Identify and pursue new customers, projects, and distribution opportunities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders

- Promote a range of weighing devices, systems, and calibration solutions

- Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions

- Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations

- Collaborate with internal technical and service teams to deliver customer solutions

- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity,



and emerging market opportunities

- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth

About You

- Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or account management

- Background in weighing equipment, industrial automation, instrumentation, or related industries preferred

- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

- Ability to build long-term customer relationships

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Self-motivated with strong time management and organisational abilities

- Ability to travel as required

- Valid driver’s licence

Desirable Experience

- Knowledge of weighing systems, load cells, industrial scales, or measurement technologies

- Experience working with industrial clients across manufacturing, civil engineering or mining sectors

- Familiarity with compliance and calibration requirements within the weighing industry
