Available for a short block of private-practice work this October?
Lithgow Physiotherapy is seeking an experienced physiotherapist for a proposed 4-6 week locum placement from 19 October 2026 , with the start date and roster negotiated around your availability.
You’ll step into an established clinic with existing patients, dedicated reception support and an experienced owner available for clinical and operational advice.
What we offer
- $75–$85 per hour plus superannuation , depending on experience
- Paid rostered hours, rather than commission-based earnings
- Existing patient bookings and referral relationships
- Dedicated reception and administrative support
- Flexibility around working days and placement length
- Potential accommodation contribution by agreement
- Clinical independence with support available throughout
The role
You’ll manage a diverse caseload including musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, WorkCover and CTP clients, Medicare and DVA patients, and older adults.
This placement will provide continuity for our patients while longer-term staffing arrangements are finalised. Dates and paid hours will be agreed before you commence.
About you
You’ll need current AHPRA registration, Australian working rights and relevant musculoskeletal or private-practice experience. You should be comfortable working independently and communicating clearly with patients and referring providers. As we see a fair few SIRA NSW Worker's Compensation and CTP clients, willlingness to complete or to have a SIRA number would be desirable.
If you’re between roles, travelling through NSW or simply available for a short placement, we’d be pleased to hear from you.
