About the Company
Our client is a long-established multidisciplinary practice in the Newcastle region, bringing medical and allied health clinicians together to support children, teens and adults. For you, that means colleagues from other disciplines sit within the same practice, so referring a child on or talking through a complex presentation does not mean starting from scratch with an outside provider.
About the Position
Our client is looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work with children on a full time basis across both clinic and community settings. Splitting your time between the two gives you variety through the week and the chance to see how a child functions in their everyday environments, not only in a therapy room. This is a role for an OT with solid paediatric experience who wants to keep building their clinical depth within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- More than two years of experience as an occupational therapist working with children
- Availability to work full time across clinic and community settings
- Working With Children Check (current or able to obtain)
- Current driver's licence for community visits
About the Location
Our client is based in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region, roughly two hours' drive north of Sydney. You get beaches, the lake and bushland close by, a major regional city with its own airport, and housing and everyday costs that typically sit below Sydney's.
