Experienced Plastering Supervisor – New South Wales

Vic Plaster Linings is looking for an experienced Plastering Supervisor to join our team in New South Wales.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in the plastering industry who understands what it takes to deliver quality work, keep trades accountable and ensure jobs are completed on time and to the required standard.

The successful applicant will have:

- 10+ years’ experience in the plastering industry
- Strong plastering/trade background – plasterer experience is essential
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leading-hand role
- Strong understanding of plasterboard installation, plaster linings, stopping and finishing
- Ability to read and understand plans and scopes of work
- Ability to inspect jobs and identify issues before they become problems
- Strong communication skills with builders, trades and our internal team
- Ability to organise and coordinate trades on multiple sites
- Strong attention to quality, presentation and workmanship
- Ability to manage job readiness, materials and trade requirements
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel between sites
- Good computer, phone and reporting skills
- Ability to take photos, provide updates and keep accurate job records
- Strong organisational and time-management skills

What the role involves:

- Supervising plastering and plasterboard works across NSW
- Checking jobs are ready before trades are sent to site
- Coordinating and communicating with plastering trades
- Checking quality and ensuring work meets Vic Plaster Linings standards
- Managing job progress and ensuring deadlines are achieved
- Identifying and resolving issues early
- Communicating with builders and site managers
- Reporting back to management on job progress, quality and any issues
- Ensuring sites are left clean, safe and ready for the next stage of construction
