About Us

At Warakirri College, we educate young people aged 15–22 who have disengaged from mainstream schooling—often due to anxiety, depression, or social disadvantage. Our students are capable, curious, and resilient. They simply need the right environment and dedicated, passionate educators to thrive.

We have campuses in Blacktown, Campbelltown, Fairfield, and Redfern, with more campuses planned to open shortly. We also have a Distance Education program.

We are advertising multiple positions across various campuses because the college is in an exciting growth phase.

We are seeking an inspirational, wellbeing focused HSIE (Geo, Business and Legal Studies) Teacher (with ability to teach Science) to join our Distance Education team based at Campbelltown and moving to Cabramatta in 2027.

- An experienced, NESA accredited HSIE (Geography, Business and Legal Studies) teacher
- A genuine belief in young people and their capacity to engage and succeed
- Ability to build strong, respectful relationships
- An understanding of trauma‑informed practice and the ability to provide a safe and inclusive, student‑centred learning culture
- A commitment to professional growth and reflective practice
- A collaborative mindset and emotional intelligence.
