The Chance

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our growing Quality Assurance team based at our Stapylton headquarters on the Gold Coast.

Reporting to the Head of Quality, this role will play a critical part in ensuring our products, systems and processes continue to meet the highest global quality standards. You will work closely with engineering,



production and quality teams to resolve complex quality challenges, improve processes and support our expanding operations across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead product quality planning activities including APQP, PPAP, DFMEA and PFMEA

- Investigate and resolve customer quality concerns

- Support and mentor Quality Engineers and Quality Coordinators

- Conduct and support internal and external audits

- Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

- Prepare and maintain FAIR documentation in accordance with AS9102

- Develop and improve quality systems aligned to AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949

- Partner with engineering and production teams to improve product and process performance

- Support non‑conformance management and corrective action activities

- Lead cross‑functional quality improvement projects and 5S initiatives

- Support global standardisation and quality objectives.

About You

You will be a highly motivated quality professional with a passion for continuous improvement and a strong understanding of quality management systems within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

You’ll bring:

- Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or Senior Quality Engineer role
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
- APQP and PPAP experience
- Strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills
- Experience with technical documentation and quality audits
- Effective leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Six Sigma knowledge or experience
- Engineering qualifications (highly regarded but not essential)
- Experience within aerospace, automotive, defence or advanced manufacturing environments will be highly regarded
