Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Manager of Residential Services for a beautiful boutique 34-bed residential aged care facility located on the lovely, picturesque region of Wollongong. A standout feature of this facility is its landscaped gardens and level terraces that provide residents with easy access to the outdoor living, and the beachfront.

As Manager of Residential Care Services, you will be part of the skilled future-thinking management team, with a focus on promoting resident-centred care, underpinned by excellence in clinical care.

The position is responsible for:

- The management of the existing 34 bed ageing in place aged care facility

- Driving and maintaining the operational budget of the facility





- Staff supervision, training and development

- Accurate and timely documentation and reporting systems

- Compliance with systems, procedures and continuous improvement activities

The nature of the position requires that the person be willing to work within the mission, vision and values of the organisation.

Requirements

- Excellent leadership skills

- Highly developed interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with key legislative requirements and contemporary practice within the aged care environment

- Significant ACFI Documentation and Care Planning experience

- A minimum of 3 years management experience

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse List A

- A current Criminal History Check

- An attractive salary and benefits package. Remuneration is based on an enterprise agreement
