Automotive Service & Operations Manager / 4-Day Work Week / Every Friday Off

You will be responsible for helping manage the day-to-day service and front-office operations across Sandgate Auto Electrics & Automotive and AllBrand Caravan Services. This is more than a service advisor position. You'll work closely with the business owner and our experienced technical teams, taking responsibility for daily operations across both businesses.

Key responsibilities

Delivering exceptional, personalised customer service and building long-term customer relationships

Managing customer enquiries, bookings and service requests

Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process and handling customer concerns professionally

Coordinating daily workshop bookings and job scheduling

Liaising with auto electricians, mechanics and caravan repair technicians

Monitoring job progress and ensuring work is completed efficiently

Managing workflow, technician availability and repair priorities

Identifying and ordering parts through suppliers and following up availability

Preparing and managing estimates and repair quotations

Maintaining accurate job records and workshop administration

About you

Experience as an Automotive Service Manager, Workshop Manager, Senior Service Advisor or similar

Good knowledge of automotive mechanical and/or auto electrical repairs

Exceptional customer service and communication skills





Strong organisational and time-management skills

Experience managing workshop bookings, technicians and job workflows

Understanding of parts ordering, suppliers, quotations and repair processes

Confidence using computers and workshop management systems

Ability to prioritise competing demands and solve problems

Caravan experience is highly regarded but not essential

$90,000–$110,000 + super, depending on experience

Full-time, four-day working week — Monday to Thursday

Every Friday off — three-day weekends every week
