The Role

We are seeking a Quality and Compliance Officer to join our Safety and Compliance team at our Head Office in Parramatta.

This is an entirely office-based position, that requires a hands-on approach to support quality and compliance activities across the business, including contractor compliance, auditing, client compliance requirements, document control and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Governance and Compliance

Support the delivery and ongoing development of the Governance, Risk and Compliance program and framework

Assist in promoting a culture of ethical and compliant decision-making, ensuring compliance awareness is integrated into day-to-day operations

Monitor regulatory and industry changes to ensure compliance and best practice

Develop, implement, and maintain policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulatory and legal requirements, and positive business practices

Document control and record keeping, including operational specific procedures

Reporting of compliance, quality and environment matters to Head of Safety and Compliance

Quality and Assurance

Review of company adherence to policies and procedures, and where required ensure corrective measures and process improvement

Maintain and ensure adherence to Contractor Management and Compliance processes

Attend Management/Operational Meetings and escape compliance and quality issues with the team as required

Support the management of Client contract and compliance processes

Auditing

Coordinate the Company’s internal and external auditing programs

Conduct and monitor frequency and results of internal audits according to schedule for quality, compliance and contractor audits





Raise corrective actions and ensure they are implemented, closed out and demonstrate continuous improvement

Ensure accurate and up to date record keeping for compliance, quality and environment matters

Prepare monthly and weekly statistics relating to compliance, quality and environment as required

The Successful Candidate

Previous experience in a compliance, quality, assurance or similar role

Security industry experience highly regarded

Knowledge of quality management systems and compliance processes

Audit and/or contractor compliance experience advantageous

Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
