Reporting directly to the Regional Director, you will lead a team of Recruitment Consultants and Account Managers in a hands-on position with full ownership of the branch's performance. You will drive growth of the existing client base organically and with new clients, with Business Development as a key requirement. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving growth, profitability, and team performance while ensuring compliance and a strong safety culture. A background in Industrial Labour Hire will be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales growth, market share, and gross profit performance
- Manage and retain existing clients while generating new business opportunities
- Oversee and optimise consulting and account management functions
- Lead, mentor, and manage staff performance, including regular reviews
- P&L; responsibility and accountability
- Manage branch expenditure and financial planning, including annual budgeting and forecasting
- Lead recruitment processes including interviewing and onboarding current staff
- Facilitate weekly reporting and monthly team meetings
- Build strong client relationships, including occasional after-hours engagement
About you
- Proven experience in a management role in a Recruitment / Labour Hire company preferred
- Strong background in Account Management and Recruitment/Consulting
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a manager or show you can progress to a business manager position
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and drive results
- Strong commercial acumen and leadership capability
- Recruiting systems and compliance knowledge.
