About You
As an Instructional Specialist , you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The position is a 3 point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years,
however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent. You'll bring:
- expertise in developing a K-6 curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- solid classroom management and student wellbeing focus
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- demonstrated capacity to mentor and build the instructional expertise of teachers
- proven ability to lead a grade/stage team and foster a collaborative professional culture
- strong coaching skills using evidence-informed and effective coaching models
- demonstrated ability to analyse data and improve student learning outcomes
- highly effective communication and partnership skills when working with parents and carers
- ability to lead whole-school curriculum initiatives and professional learning
a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.
