We are recruiting on behalf of a respected and qualified Water Treatment specialist. They have a stronghold of industrial, commercial and manufacturing contracts in the South East of England. They are seeking a commercially-focused Water Treatment Account Manager to oversee new and existing client contracts in the region. You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of service is delivered across client sites, driving further commercial success and promoting the company in a positive manner. Prospective candidates must hold experience with cooling towers, closed systems and steam boilers, and will be able to utilise their hands-on experience to upsell services to clients. Our client is offering excellent salaries and benefits, including a company vehicle.
Consideration will be given to candidates from the following locations: St Neots, Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Ives, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Ely, March, Peterborough, Corby, Kettering, Bedford, Sandy, Biggleswade, Hitchin, Wisbech, Spalding, Stowmarket, Haverhill, Sudbury, Harlow, Stevenage, Luton, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Bishop's Stortford.
Experience / Qualifications
- Strong experience as a Water Treatment Account Manager
- Must be confident using a test kit and excellent hands-on experience with cooling towers, steam boilers and closed systems
- Robust industry technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Will ideally hold industry-recognised qualifications / training
- Flexible to travel in line with company needs
- Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role
- Managing key water treatment, cooling tower, closed system and steam boiler client accounts
- Overseeing Simultaneous projects from start to finish
- Ensuring works are completed within the agreed timeframe and proposed scope
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, handling complaints and technical queries
- Upselling further services to existing clients
- Meeting with prospective clients to introduce and sell company services
- Monitoring engineer / site staff performance
- Renewing existing client contracts
- Assisting sales teams with tenders / bids
- Troubleshooting issues on site
- Producing regular works documents / reports
- Building strong working relationships with clients
We would be interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any disciplines from Risk Assessors, Service Engineers, Account Managers and Business Development/Operational Managers through to Director level.
