The Trustee for the ICMTHM Trust trading as International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) is seeking an experienced and student-focused academic to join our academic community as a Lecturer (Level B) – Economics and Statistics.

About the Role

This position is offered on a full-time fixed-term basis for an initial period of two years and is remunerated on an annualised salary basis.

The Lecturer (Level B) will contribute to teaching, learning, scholarship and academic administration activities within the Faculty. The successful candidate will teach across undergraduate and postgraduate programs and contribute to curriculum enhancement and academic quality assurance processes.

Teaching areas include:

- Economics
- Statisticsand data analysis

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in face-to-face, hybrid and online learning environments.
- Develop,



review and update subject materials, learning resources and assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Support student engagement, progression and academic success.
- Participate in assessment moderation and academic quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to curriculum development, subject review and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain currency in the discipline through scholarship, professional engagement and ongoing professional development.
- Participate in academic administration, faculty activities and College initiatives.

Selection Criteria:

- A Master's degree or higher qualification in Economics, Applied Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, Business Analytics, Finance, Quantitative Business, Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated higher education teaching experience in Economics, Entrepreneurship, Statistics and quantitative methods
- Business analytics and data analysis
- Postgraduate teaching capability in economics-related subjects
- Ability to teach quantitative concepts and economic principles to diverse student cohorts.
- Experience in subject delivery, assessment design and academic quality assurance processes.
- Strong written,



verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within academic teams.
- Commitment to student-centred learning and academic excellence.
- Proficiency in learning management systems and contemporary educational technologies.

Preferred:

- A doctoral qualification (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Evidence of scholarship, research activity, publications, conference presentations or professional contributions to the discipline.
- Experience coordinating subjects or leading teaching teams.
- Industry experience relevant to economics, finance, analytics, statistics, business or management.
- Experience teaching international student cohorts.
