A.B. Paterson College's Early Childhood Centre is seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated non-contact Educational Leader for a Permanent Full-Time position.

As a key member of our Early Childhood leadership team, you will guide, mentor and inspire educators to deliver high-quality, inclusive learning programs that support each child's learning, development and wellbeing. Working collaboratively with Centre leadership, you will foster a culture of reflective practice, professional growth and continuous improvement while ensuring curriculum excellence aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, My Time Our Place and National Quality Standards. You will work closely with the Centre Managers across both of our Services, providing leadership support and overseeing day-to-day operations when required, including during periods of leave or absence.

As an Educational Leader, you will:

- Lead and champion high-quality educational programs and practices across the service.
- Guide, mentor and support educators in curriculum planning, documentation, reflective practice and professional growth.
- Drive curriculum excellence and continuous improvement in alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Support educators to deliver meaningful, inclusive and engaging learning experiences that promote children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- Monitor and support curriculum compliance, assessment and documentation practices.
- Contribute to the development and review of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and quality improvement initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships with children, families, colleagues and the wider community to enhance learning outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Manager and Director of Early Learning to align educational goals with operational priorities.
- Provide leadership support to the Centre Manager and oversee day-to-day operations when required, including during planned and unplanned absences.

YOU WILL HAVE

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher ACECQA-approved qualification.
- Current Blue Card and First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Early Childhood Education and Care, with experience in a Room Leader, Senior Educator or Educational Leadership role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, QKLG, NQF and NQS, with demonstrated experience leading curriculum development and mentoring educators.
- Robust Leadership experience within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to reflective practice, continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes for children
- Completion of Gecko Child Safety Training (or willingness to complete prior to commencement)

Conveniently located on the ground floor of The Winton Centre, our exceptional facility boasts three fully equipped Pre-Prep classrooms. These rooms feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to a creative playground, offering ample space for children to actively participate in meaningful learning experiences.

Collaboration with the College enables the children to participate in extracurricular activities including library experiences, physical education and music lessons with A.B. Paterson College teaching staff. We also run a successful outside school hours care program for Prep to year 6.
