Join our in-house Finance team to support the Aurion business with delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis and insights.

Responsibilities

This role plays a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial data and supporting business performance through timely and accurate reporting. It acts as a key contact point for planning cycles including Budget and Outlook, and provides leadership across key finance projects. Further responsibilities include:

Ensure accuracy and integrity of monthly financial results, including reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance

Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and manage collaboration with the Group Finance team

Lead the annual Budget and Forecast processes, ensuring timelines and quality outcomes

Prepare monthly outlooks and financial reports, with insightful commentary for Executive and Profit Centre leaders

Maintain strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with policies, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies

Provide financial analysis to support business growth, planning, and commercial decision-making

Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights, influence decision-making, and support strategic objectives

Mentor and develop junior finance team members, fostering capability and knowledge sharing

Skills and experience

We are looking for a highly motivated team member who thrives in a dynamic workplace, while demonstrating the following experience and qualities:

A degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Business, with CPA and CA qualification





Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a complex or fast-paced environment

Deep understanding of accounting principles and standards, with advanced skills in MS Excel and accounting software

Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Resilience and sound problem-solving abilities, supported by critical and analytical thinking

A mindset for continuous improvement and streamlining finance processes

Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights

Experience in a SaaS or tech-focused business well regarded

Exposure to tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and Atlassian is well regarded
