We’re under new ownership and new management — and we’re turning up the heat in the kitchen!

We’re looking for an experienced, passionate and energetic Head Chef to take the reins and lead our kitchen team into its next chapter.

This is more than just a job running a kitchen. It’s your chance to put your stamp on the menu, lead a team, have some fun and help shape what’s next for the Heathcote Hotel.

WHAT’S ON THE MENU?

We’re looking for someone who can:

- Lead and inspire a kitchen team
- Create delicious, approachable pub food that people come back for
- Bring fresh ideas and creativity to our menu
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Manage food costs, ordering, stock control and kitchen operations
- Keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy service
- Train, develop and motivate your team
- Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards
- Work collaboratively with management to grow and develop the food offering

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll be an experienced Chef who:

- Has previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader




- Knows how to run a busy kitchen
- Has a genuine passion for valuable food
- Is organised, reliable and commercially minded
- Leads from the front and brings positive energy to the team
- Isn’t afraid to get stuck in
- Can balance creativity with consistency
- Wants to be part of something exciting from the beginning
