Operations Manager - Senior Leadership Team (contract)

The Operations Manager leads and manages the day-to-day operations of the Company's clinics. The role is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the administrative support functions across the clinics, ensuring planning, co-ordination, management, monitoring and evaluation of effective and effective administrative support services. The Operations Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), whilst maintaining a commitment to continuous improvement and achieving business goals. Additionally, there will be some project management responsibilities in line with current priorities of the business plan. The role is responsible for all human resource allocation and rostering (medical, clinical and support functions) across the company. As a people leader, this position provides empathetic coaching, mentoring and direction to all direct reports with the view of maintaining continuous improvement and development of the team leaders to ensure exceptional overall clinic performance and patient care. The role will ensure outstanding service to each and every patient, and compliance with any regulatory or third-party contracts/accreditation. This is a 12-month backfill opportunity and would suit someone with a strong operations background, ideally with some project management and change management experience.
Key responsibilities
Execute business objectives and strategies within your department within the agreed timeframes as per the business plan
Develop SOPs for all Operations Departments which are consistent with best practice and any third-party requirements
Conduct annual review of SOPs in line with best practice and any third-party requirements to ensure they are optimal and compliant
Develop and execute quality assurance programs to ensure delivery of services consistent with SOPs
Lead and manage the company's clinics to ensure achievement of financial targets (budget), both revenue and cost structure
Solicit and act upon feedback from patients, employees, doctors, and other stakeholders to continuously improve service quality and patient satisfaction
Manage project continuation and commencement of new priority projects as agreed to by the Senior Leadership Team and in accordance with the Business Plan
Ensure accurate rostering of staff to support the delivery of services at each clinic
Work collaboratively with the Clinical Services Manager to identify and implement improvements in the clinic operations
Provide line management to direct reports, including setting and managing key performance indicators for team members
About you
Experienced Operations Manager with a strong track record in project management, change management, and people leadership
Strong eye on efficient process development and workplace compliance
Combine capability with warmth, initiative and a genuine commitment to patient, Doctor, and employee care
Ability to work predominantly at St Andrews War Memorial location (Spring Hill) but regularly visit and work from other locations at St Vincents (Chermiside), Greenslopes Private (Greenslopes), North Lakes Medical Centre and Mater Medical Centre (South Brisbane)
