APG Workforce is currently seeking experienced Chicken Hangers / Poultry Process Workers to join a busy poultry processing facility on the night shift . This is a highly physical and fast-paced role suited to candidates with previous experience in chicken hanging, poultry processing, food manufacturing or production environments .
About the Role
As a Chicken Hanger, your duties will include:
- Hanging chickens on a fast-moving production line
- Performing repetitive manual handling tasks
- Working in a quick-paced poultry processing environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Handling poultry products safely and efficiently
- Following strict food safety and hygiene procedures
- Following all workplace health and safety requirements
- Working as part of a productive team
- Assisting with general production duties when required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous chicken hanging or poultry processing experience – essential
- Experience in food manufacturing, production or processing
- Ability to perform highly physical and repetitive work
- Good physical fitness and manual handling ability
- Ability to work at a fast pace for extended periods
- Strong reliability and attendance
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety
- Full Australian work rights
- Availability for overtime when required
- Reliable transport is highly desirable
