Lead Retail Pty is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager - Jewellery to join our dynamic team in Brisbane CBD & Inner Suburbs. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic prospect to develop your retail management career within the jewellery sector. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales performance, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our jewellery store. This position is integral to maintaining our high standards of customer experience and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

- Supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations and performance management
- Supervising and coaching the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets
- Ensuring consistent delivery of outstanding customer service and brand experience across all customer touch points
- Managing stock control, inventory accuracy, and product displays to maximise sales opportunities
- Training and developing team members to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills
- Handling customer enquiries, complaints and concerns with professionalism and resolution-focused approach
- Assisting with the recruitment, onboarding and performance management of team members
- Maintaining store standards, visual merchandising and compliance with company policies and procedures




- Contributing to the achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators
- Supporting the Store Manager with administrative tasks, scheduling and rostering

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a retail or supervisory role, preferably within the jewellery or luxury goods sector
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Demonstrated sales ability with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships
- Knowledge of jewellery products, gemstones and precious metals is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Sound understanding of retail operations, stock management and point-of-sale systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a team whilst also taking initiative independently
- Professional appearance and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required

This is very consultative one-on-one sales role where you will educate your clients on jewellery and customised pieces.
