You will be required to help run the day-to-day operations of the practice and ensuring that patients are always your number one priority. It is a combined dermatology and plastic surgical practice.
Office hours range from 8:15am – 4:15pm, Monday to Tuesday. More days are available if travel to Wahroonga is an option.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Booking appointments and surgical procedures
- Preparing reception and specialists' rooms for consultation day
- Co-ordinating operating theatre lists
- Invoicing and receipting of consultations and procedures
- Processing Medicare and Eclipse accounts
- Liaising with Health Funds and Work Cover insurers
To be successful for this position, the preferable skills/attributes are:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a specialist medical practice is preferred
- Medical administration experience from any healthcare setting is acceptable
- Abilility to work autonomously
- Experience with Genie practice management software is preferred but not essential
