We are seeking a Maintenance Officer(Handyperson) to carry out general maintenance and repairs at allsites within the Wellington Area.

SuitabilityCriteria:
Suitability recognises that a range of factors contribute to merit, including skills, knowledge,abilities, behaviours, ethical alignment and relevant operationalrequirements. - Demonstratedmaintenance/handyperson experience.
- Ability to operate,maintain and undertake repairs on maintenance, workshop and/orgardening equipment.
- Ability to work withminimal supervision and in a team environment.
- Sound interpersonalskills and communication skills.
- Ability to use initiativein prioritising work duties.
- Eligible for / or inpossession of a current C or C-A Class driver’slicence.

Whilst this selection processwill initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants foundsuitable for this position may be considered for other ‘similar’vacancies within WACHS and/or the wider WA public sector. Inaddition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacatethe advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant mayalso be selected from this process. Both of these options remainvalid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authoriseddelegate endorses the recruitment decision.
