About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Advisor to support our branches and wider business operations across Australia and New Zealand.
This hands-on role offers broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle. You will work closely with leaders and employees to provide practical HR support, build trusted relationships, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with a broad range of employment matters such as;
- Misconduct
- Performance management
- Disciplinary action
- Workplace compliance
- Redundancies
- Medical incapacity
- Termination processes
- Assist with end to end recruitment, from advertising, interviewing, reference checks, mandatory pre-employment checks and onboarding for recent employees.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition as well as administer policies and procedures.
- Coordination of L&D; and maintain accurate training records within Workday.
- Contribute to change management, succession planning, and organisational development initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in an HR Advisor or HR Coordinator
- Worked in a Hire Equipment, Construction industry or Industrial Services (SME)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in Workday or similar HRIS systems (highly desirable but not essential)
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a cooperative approach
