We are currently seeking a motivated and adaptable Finance Officer to join our Brisbane team. We have two opportunities available:
Finance Officer – Full–Time
Finance Officer – Part–Time (3 days per week)
Immediate start is preferred
About the Role
The Finance Officer will provide efficient financial and administrative support across the Finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their finance career who is eager to learn, develop, and contribute within a supportive team environment.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and has a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Accounts email inbox and assist customers with enquiries
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Prepare and issue invoices and follow up outstanding payments
- Perform bank reconciliations and process domestic and international payments
- Monitor bank accounts, corporate credit card balances and update cash flow documentation
- Assist with bookkeeping activities and general finance administration
- Maintain employee finance-related records, including Fleet Cards, Toll Tags and expense processing
- Support monthly reporting in Excel and Power BI
- Assist with ad hoc finance reporting and administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety procedures
About You
- 2–3 years’ experience in a finance,
bookkeeping, accounts, or administration role Desirable
- Understanding of bookkeeping principles, invoicing, credits and debits
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team workplace
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Experience using SAP or exposure to ERP systems
- Exposure to Power BI or finance reporting tools
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar
