Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Travel Advisor/Tour Host role located in Sunshine Coast, QLD. The role is varied, from the designing of tours, to managing end-to-end travel arrangements including bookings, itineraries, and documentation, to hosting tours. The Travel Advisor/Tour Host will host and supervise group tours, coordinate daily activities, and provide on-the-ground support to ensure a positive and protected experience for travelers. Day-to-day tasks include responding to enquiries, delivering high-quality customer service, maintaining accurate client records, liaising with travel partners and suppliers, and resolving any travel-related issues promptly. The role also includes promoting company offerings,
supporting marketing initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement of hosted holiday experiences. As a tour host you must be available to travel within Australia and overseas.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
- Excellent Communication skills for client consultations, supplier coordination, and on-tour support.
- Proficiency in Travel Arrangements, including planning and booking complex itineraries.
- Experience in a Travel Agency or similar travel industry environment.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site, including occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, or travel as required.
- Comfort using reservation systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.
- Knowledge of popular destinations and tour operations; familiarity with Australian and international travel options is an advantage.
- Professional, calm, and responsive approach to handling travel disruptions or guest concerns.
- Relevant qualification in tourism, hospitality, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
