Ferrari Dental Care is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist or OHT to join our team in Eltham, Victoria. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a meaningful impact on our patients' oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our practice by providing preventative dental care and supporting our clinical team in delivering high-quality patient services. This position is fundamental to maintaining our commitment to excellence and ensuring our patients receive comprehensive dental care in a welcoming workplace.

Key responsibilities

- Performing dental cleanings and scaling to remove plaque and tartar from teeth and below the gum line
- Taking and developing dental X-rays using appropriate safety protocols
- Applying preventative treatments such as fluoride and dental sealants
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventative care
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and treatment documentation
- Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting practice operations

What we're looking for

- A valid Dental Hygienist or OHT qualification recognised in Australia, with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of preventative dentistry practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to explain complex dental concepts to patients in an accessible manner




- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative dental team
- Proficiency in using dental software and patient management systems
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience in general dental practice is highly desirable
