A fantastic opportunity has come up to be part of an exciting time at one of Sydney's most iconic Pubs. Our refurbishmentsof the entire ground floor are complete and we are looking for an enthusiastic Cook to join our team. The Hotel has 2outlets serving Pub Classics &Modern; Australian Cuisine functions with up to 300 guests upstairs, the successful candidate will possess the following:

Liaise with managers and other staff regarding food preparation issues.

Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards, ensuring safe working practices are adhered to by all staff.

Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.

Manage inventory and order food supplies.





Ensure suggestions or enquiries by guests are dealt with in accordance with company policies.

Determine preparation and service of food ensuring attractive presentation.

Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking equipment.

Minimise food wastage and manage food cost.

Demonstrated ability to workin a rapid paced kitchen

Passionate about food with aproven ability to reach thehigherstandards and quality with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Cook

Functions experiencean advantage

Must have relevant qualifications for the role (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery)
