Key Responsibilities

- Assessvehicledamageanddetermineappropriaterepairrequirements
- Checkdeliveredpartstoensuretheyarecorrectandfreefromdefects
- Remove,repairandreplacedamagedpanels,framesandvehiclecomponents
- Disassemblevehiclesinlinewithjobsheetsandrepairrequirements




- Reassemblevehiclesfollowingthecompletionofrepairwork
- Carryoutmetalshaping,cutting,straighteningandweldingtasks
- Completestructuralandpanelrepairstorequiredqualitystandards
- Performrusttreatmentandframealignmentworkwhererequired
- Applybodyfillerandpreparesurfacesthroughsandingandrelatedpreparationwork
- Handlevehiclescarefullythroughoutallstagesoftherepairprocess
- Maintainworkshoptoolsandequipmentinasafe,cleanandserviceablecondition
- FollowworkplacehealthandsafetyproceduresanduserequiredPPE
- Maintainaclean,organisedandprofessionalworkarea
- Staycurrentwithrelevantrepairtechniquesandindustrydevelopments
- Workeffectivelywithotherteammemberstoachievequalityandproductivitytargets

Requirements & Eligibility

- QualifiedPanelBeaterwithrelevanttradeexperience
- Abilitytodemonstrateandverifyrelevantqualificationsandemploymentexperience
- Strongpracticalexperienceinvehiclebodyrepairsandsmashrepairwork
- Competencyinmetalshaping,weldingandfabricationtechniques
- Knowledgeofstructuralrepairs,framealignmentandrusttreatment
- Experiencewithbodyfiller,sandingandsurfacepreparation
- Abilitytodisassembleandreassemblevehiclecomponentsaccurately
- Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttohigh-qualityworkmanship
- Abilitytoworksafelyandfollowestablishedworkshopprocedures
- Goodcommunicationandteamworkskills
- Reliable,motivatedandprofessionalapproachtowork
