The role:

As Concierge Supervisor, you'll be the first and last face our guests see. You'll anticipate their needs, lead the concierge team and make sure every request is met to the high standard Rydges is known for.

Key responsibilities:

- Greet guests warmly on arrival and departure, and anticipate and act on their needs straight away
- Supervise, train and mentor the concierge team, and support the Chief Concierge with rosters and timesheets
- Pass on guest special requests to the right departments and follow up until they're fulfilled
- Work with Reservations, Front Desk and Housekeeping so groups,



FIT travellers and arriving guests are looked after
- Arrange guest transport and tours, and share your local knowledge of the area and its events
- Keep the foyer and entrance spotless, and raise guest feedback and complaints with hotel management

What you'll bring:

- A genuine passion for guest service and a warm, friendly manner
- Leadership skills, with the ability to coach and motivate a team
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong local knowledge (or the curiosity to build it) so you can recommend the best of Brisbane
- Creativity and initiative to come up with new ways to make a guest's stay unique
- Commitment to workplace health and safety and hotel policies and procedures
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts
