Role and Responsibilities:

- Take responsibility for the day‑to‑day maintenance and presentation of sports turf and grounds at a school site.
- Complete regular mowing, edging and turf upkeep to maintain a high standard of presentation.
- Operate zero‑turn mowers, ride‑on mowers and specialised turf maintenance equipment.
- Carry out turf care including mowing, line marking, fertilising, weed control and general turf maintenance.
- Complete minimal gardening and general grounds maintenance as required,



with a strong focus on sports turf.
- Monitor turf condition and presentation, identifying issues and completing maintenance as required.
- Plan daily works and prioritise tasks to ensure the site is maintained efficiently and to a high standard.
- Complete pre‑starts, SWMS, Take 5s and other required site safety and reporting tasks.
- Communicate with school representatives and site stakeholders regarding turf, grounds and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a safe, qualified and well‑presented school environment through consistent turf and grounds upkeep.

What will you need?

- A Current Drivers Licence (Manual or Auto)
- Relevant Experience or Qualifications
- National Police Check or be willing to obtain.
- Working with Children Check, or willing to obtain.
