For years, we’ve built our reputation on honesty, top-tier automotive repair, and customer service. We are now looking for an organized, Service Advisor / Shop Administrator to join our close-knit team.
The Role
As the face of our front office, you will bridge the gap between our workshop floor and our valued customers. This is a dynamic role combining customer service, service advising, and general workshop administration.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service: Welcoming clients, booking in vehicles, and providing empathetic, clear updates throughout the repair process.
- Service Advising: Translating technical feedback from our mechanics into transparent, easy-to-understand explanations and estimates for customers.
- Parts & Workflow:
Ordering parts from suppliers promptly and assisting the team to manage the daily workflow.
- Administration: Processing invoices, handling payments, answering phone enquiries, and maintaining accurate service records.
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience as an automotive service advisor is highly regarded, but we will train the right person.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to handle a busy workshop environment.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn workshop management software.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
