Coledale Surf Life Saving Club Inc – Coledale NSW

The Coledale Surf Lifesaving Club seeks a professional operator to manage the Coledale Beach Camping Reserve, a beachfront campground comprising 46 camping sites, an amenities block, and onsite manager accommodation. The successful contractor will provide operational support and management services to administer the campground, maintain it to a high standard, maximise occupancy and revenue opportunities, and contribute to the long-term strategic success of the facility.

Key responsibilities

- Manage all campground bookings using the RMS Cloud booking system, including guest enquiries, communications, check-in and check-out processes
- Deliver excellent customer service, manage guest issues and complaints, and maintain campground standards to promote repeat visitation
- Perform daily inspection of campground facilities, implement amenity cleaning programs, conduct grounds maintenance, and undertake minor maintenance and repairs
- Recruit, engage, supervise, remunerate and insure all personnel; ensure all staff hold required licences, qualifications, approvals, and Working with Children Check and criminal history clearances where required
- Maintain separate and accurate financial records for the Camping Business, account for and remit all monies received on behalf of the Club, and manage expenditure within authority limits
- Ensure compliance with lease obligations, WHS obligations, environmental obligations, and risk management requirements; maintain complete records for at least seven years
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans, manage social media presence, manage website content, establish tourism partnerships, and pursue occupancy and revenue growth initiatives




- Submit quarterly written reports within 14 days after each quarter covering occupancy, revenue, maintenance, customer feedback, incidents and operational issues
- Notify the Club as soon as practicable and within 24 hours of any complaint, incident, accident, injury, security breach, regulatory issue or other matter that may adversely affect the Camping Business
- Perform the Services with due care, skill, diligence and expertise, in positive faith and in the best interests of the Camping Business

About you

- Demonstrated experience managing campgrounds, caravan parks, holiday parks, tourism facilities, or hospitality operations
- Ability to hold and maintain workers compensation insurance as required by law for all personnel
- Ability to hold and maintain public and products liability insurance of at least $20 million for any one occurrence and unlimited in the aggregate
- Ability to hold and maintain professional indemnity insurance of at least $2 million for any one claim and in the aggregate
- Ability to hold and maintain cyber liability and privacy risk insurance of at least $1 million for any one claim and in the aggregate
- Ability to hold and maintain compulsory third party and comprehensive motor vehicle insurance for vehicles used in connection with the Services, where applicable
- Demonstrated capacity to comply with WHS requirements, applicable laws and modern slavery obligations
- Ability to protect confidential information and personal information, manage suspected data breaches, and comply with applicable privacy laws
