We are seeking Payroll Officers for a large industrial business in Acacia Ridge. You'll join an established payroll team processing fortnightly and monthly pays for around 1,900 employees. This is a 3-month assignment, and the right person has a real chance of going permanent. The role is office-based in Acacia Ridge, with one day a week from home once you're settled in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing end to end fortnightly and monthly payrolls in Chris21
- Validating timesheet data from AX
- Preparing payroll for bank submission and posting into the finance system
- Processing manual payments and adjustments as needed
- Running payroll reports and reconciliations
- Entering and maintaining employee data in the HR system
- Keeping records accurate, confidential and compliant with legislation, awards and company policy
What I’m Looking For
- At least 12 months of payroll experience in a high-volume environment
- An understanding of EBAs and Contemporary Awards is a plus
- Solid Excel and general computer skills
- You own your work, meet your cut offs
- Available to start soon and stay through to the end of January
