Penske Australia is looking for an experienced and motivated Parts Interpreter to join our Cairns team on an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for a further employment opportunity at the completion of the contract.

The Opportunity

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems and using their parts knowledge to find the right solution.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

- Interpreting and identifying parts across a diverse range of applications
- Supporting workshop technicians and external customers with parts enquiries
- Preparing quotations and processing customer orders
- Sourcing and coordinating parts to meet customer requirements
- Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers




- Working closely with our service, workshop and parts teams
- Supporting inventory and general parts department activities

About You

If you have parts interpreting experience, we would like to hear from you.

Previous experience interpreting truck, heavy vehicle or marine parts is highly regarded, but it is not essential.

If you have solid Parts Interpreter experience in another industry and you're willing to learn, don't let a lack of experience with our specific brands stop you from applying.

We're Looking For Someone With

- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Parts Advisor or similar
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good computer and systems skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive, can-do attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
