Tait Auto Group is seeking a full-time Receptionist/Administration Officer to join our team in Moree, NSW. This is a pivotal position that will serve as the first point of contact for our customers and an essential support function across our operations. You will be the backbone of our front-of-house operations, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for all visitors whilst managing critical administrative functions. This full-time role is based on-site at our Moree location, where you will contribute directly to the smooth running of our business and the satisfaction of our customers and colleagues.
Key responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming customers, clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression
- Managing incoming and outgoing telephone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments or team members
- Answering customer enquiries regarding services, products, pricing and appointment availability
- Scheduling and confirming appointments for service departments and sales consultations
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries and appointments
- Processing administrative documentation, including customer forms, service orders and correspondence
- Managing reception desk operations, including mail distribution, filing and general organisation
- Providing administrative support to managers and team members as required
- Maintaining a professional and tidy reception area that reflects our brand values
- Performing general office duties including photocopying, scanning and data entry
- Liaising between departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow
- Supporting special projects and events as directed by management
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a receptionist,
administration or customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced automotive or retail environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and colleagues
- Solid organisational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy
- Excellent telephone manner and professional demeanour
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements
- RSA certification is advantageous but not essential
- Experience with reception or booking software systems would be beneficial
