Job description: Our client, Breeze Homes Pty Ltd, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Commercial Housekeeper to support the day-to-day housekeeping operations of its accommodation facility in Cairns, Queensland. Position: Commercial Housekeeper Job Responsibilities: Cleans, vacuums and mops floors, makes beds, and restocks mini bars and bathroom supplies in hotel and motel rooms and other commercial premises. Duties:
- Plan and coordinate housekeeping activities.
- Inspect guest rooms, common areas and facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.
- Coordinate room preparation and servicing schedules.
- Identify and report maintenance and repair requirements.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and effectively.
- Maintain housekeeping records and reports.
- Assist in implementing housekeeping procedures and quality standards.
- Liaise with management and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Qualification Requirements:
- AQF Certificate II, Certificate III or higher qualification in Hospitality, Accommodation Services, Housekeeping Operations or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant post-qualification experience in housekeeping, accommodation services or a similar role.
