Developmental Educator - Early Childhood Intervention | South Coast

You'll deliver early childhood intervention to children aged 0 to 9 and their families across the NSW South Coast, working from our Nowra or Batemans Bay clinic and out in homes, childcare centres, schools and the community. It's a new graduate role with a structured New Graduate Program, regular mentoring and supervision, and the choice of full-time or part time hours.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Delivering early childhood intervention services for children aged 0 to 9
- Supporting children with developmental delay, autism, intellectual disability and other developmental needs
- Developing and putting in place individualised intervention plans
- Coaching parents and caregivers using a family-centred, capacity-building approach
- Working with Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists and other allied health professionals
- Keeping accurate clinical documentation and NDIS-compliant records
- Attending multidisciplinary meetings, supervision and professional development

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You're a new graduate with an interest in paediatrics and early childhood development, committed to family-centred and evidence-based practice. You communicate confidently and can work independently while contributing to a team.

Essential:





- Bachelor's degree in Developmental Education, Disability Studies, Early Childhood Intervention, Special Education or a related discipline
- Registration with Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
